The Superarchimoon , designed by Philippe Starck in 2000 for Flos , is a floor lamp providing direct and diffused light, with internal diffuser in mouth-blown borosilicate glass, external in pleated fabric. What is most striking about this lamp is the imposing structure, painted in gray liquid, made up of arms and rods in tubular aluminum, stainless steel springs and joints in die-cast aluminum alloy. The aluminum base is made up of six lead counterweights, while the electronic dimmer is present on the cable which allows for step-by-step adjustment of the light intensity.
