Eclisse is a table lamp designed by the Italian designer Vico Magistretti in 1965 for the Italian company Artemide .

Compasso d'oro in 1967 is now part of the permanent collection of the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and the MoMA in New York.
It is a table lamp, with direct or diffused light, also designed for wall installation, essentially made up of 3 hemispheres: base, fixed external cap and mobile internal cap.

It is a table lamp, with direct or diffused light, also designed for wall installation, essentially made up of 3 hemispheres: base, fixed external cap and mobile internal cap.
This structure allows the user to darken the light source as he pleases and therefore to regulate its luminous flux; if the light source is completely covered, only the outer glow remains, reminiscent of a total eclipse.
Today the metal body is available in new PVD colors.
