Artemide
The table lamp by Artemide Eclisse , designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, (Compasso d'Oro in 1967) is today the representative of Italian design in the world.
Eclisse is an avant-garde balance between design and utility: the basis of the concept lies in its functionality of regulating the intensity of the light through its internal rotating lampshade which "eclipses" the light source.
The painted metal body is available in white, red, orange or yellow and in the PVD version, made with an innovative and sustainable metal vacuum deposition process ("sputtering"), available in black, brass, copper or mirror.
Eclisse is part of the permanent collection of the most important design museums, including the MoMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
