PH Artichoke suspension
PH Artichoke suspension
Louis Poulsen
The PH Artichoke ø48cm suspension by Louis Poulsen was designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen.
The designer had chosen a combination of copper leaves with a pink finish inside to recreate an extraordinary warmth and an elegant reflected light.
The partial hand assembly of the PH Artichoke is still today a guarantee of high quality.
The distinctive shape of the "artichoke" is given by its 72 plates arranged in 12 rows of six plates each, which creates a lamp of considerable size but with an equally significant impact thanks to its elegance and scenic appeal.
The PH Artichoke is available in the original copper finish, versions in brushed and polished steel, brass and both white and black metal have been added over time.
Light source excluded (E27).
